About Us

The Potteries Omnibus Preservation Society (POPS) was founded in November 1976. At present the society owns 9 buses with some of its members also owning buses with North Staffordshire connections. 

Through restoration projects, educational programs, and community events, we hope to keep the memories of these iconic vehicles alive for future generations. 

Our mission is to educate the public about the history of local transportation and to provide a hands-on experience with our preserved buses. We are also a registered charity.
